Brent Miller, Founder and CEO

Prior to launching, A House On Brame Productions,
Miller spent over a decade as Norman Lear’s producing partner ultimately rising to President of Production for Lear’s final years.

Most recently, he and Lear teamed with Jimmy Kimmel and Kerry Washington to Executive Produce (3) Primetime Specials of LIVE IN FRONT OF A STUDIO AUDIENCE for ABC.  The specials set ratings records and earned the duo (2) Primetime Emmys for “Outstanding Variety Special (Live)” in 2019 and 2020. The third installment aired in December 2021 and was nominated for two Primetime Emmys. In 2022, Miller partnered with Done & Dusted Production’s to produce NORMAN LEAR: 100 YEARS OF MUSIC AND LAUGHTER – Miller’s love letter to Lear – earning him is 5th personal Primetime Emmy Nomination.

It was Miller who helped encourage Lear back into the television landscape with the Latinx reimagining of his former classic television series ONE DAY AT A TIME, this time starring Justina Machado and Rita Moreno.  They went on to Executive Produce a diverse slate of various projects including a reimagined, animated, present-day version of the iconic, GOOD TIMES for Netflix, which premiered in Spring 2024.

Miller remains attached to all development he and Lear initiated while at Sony Pictures Television - continuing his former non-exclusive, first look deal under Norman Lear’s ACT III Productions that will take him through January of 2025.

Miller is repped by Diane Golden at
